Google was offline for more than an hour on Wednesday.
DownDetector showed that the problems appeared around 11:00 AM ET, but the outage disappeared around 12:30 PM ET.
Users in the US, UK, Australia, parts of Europe, South America and Asia reported issues with Search, the website and Google Drive.
It is unclear how many users were affected and what caused the outage.

The DownDetector fault map for the US highlighted that users had reported problems in New York City, San Francisco and parts of the Midwest.
In Great Britain, Glasgow and Cambridge were also in the red, but America seemed to be more affected by the outage than other countries.
Americans reported seeing a server error when trying to connect to Chrome, which is also lagging behind for some users.
About 64 percent of the issues reported to DownDetector cited Search as the main issue, 30 percent with the website, and just under seven percent cited Google Drive.
Users shared their frustrations with Elon Musk’s X, with some saying Google Maps was also experiencing an outage.

It is unclear how many users are affected and what caused the outage. But the affected people shared the problems on X
One Google user shared a screenshot on the social media platform with the text: ‘502. That’s a mistake. The server encountered a temporary error and cannot complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds. That’s all we know.’
However, the outage seemed to have no consequences. All users in countries submit problem reports to DownDetector.
