Footy Great Warwick Capper has shown the fruits of the training he did in preparation for his boxing fight in May.
The 61-year-old former Sydney Swans-star went to Instagram last week to show off his drastic weight reduction after shocking fans of both sports when he announced the fight last month.
In a video that coincided with that news, Capper cut a completely different figure while he did some toadwork with boxing trainer Prince Bunjaku, as he stated: ‘If Mike Tyson can do it at 58, Warwick Capper’s heads can be 61,’ referring to The fight of the boxing legend with Jake Paul last year.
‘Good for your mental health, good for my body and good for the children who train. She takes them from the bank and to the gym. ‘
The quote ‘Good for my body’ [Capper] Get his rig back for the big fight for charity in 2025. “

Footy and boxing fans were pleasantly surprised by the new look, with one writing: ‘Great! I am so happy that you see Fit -Fit again, size, ‘and another addition,’ Holy S *** !! He has lost weight. ‘
In the comments, Capper reveals that his fight will be held in the Melbourne Pavilion on 17 May – and his opponent has also been appointed.
A promotional image for the match posted by the Fight Fanatics Instagram account shows that Capper will fight against Jesse Dardha, which is described as a ‘former Bad Boy’ in the caption.
Information about Dardha is scarce, but based on a video that shows him in the ring, the Footy Cult Hero will have its hands full.
A clip from Dardha fighting against Cathal Ryan, who was uploaded to YouTube this week, shows that Capper’s opponent is strongly built and covered with tattoos, with ink over his face next to almost everywhere elsewhere on his body and the word ‘outlaw’ prominent displayed on his chest.
He was knocked down in the second round of the game, but arguing with the referee, apparently believed that he had been over and lost the three-round match on points.
If Capper’s competition continues with Dardha, this is the second time he stepped between the ropes after he was deducted in a charity fight in 2009 with NRL legend Wendell Sailor.
