The Golden State Warriors' struggles nearly landed head coach Steve Kerr in trouble at home with his wife.
After the Warriors' 124-123 loss to the Sacramento Kings, when shooting guard Malik Monk hit a game-winning shot after Golden State blew a 24-point lead, Kerr had a rough night.
Kerr said KNBR that his wife's message to him after the sleepless night was to save it for the play-offs.
“I'll tell you what happened; I got home from Sacramento, I wake up for a bit, I think about everything, I go to bed and [I’m] tossing and turning,” Kerr told KNBR.
“It's probably two in the morning, and Margot wakes up and says, 'Jesus, it's only November. Would you like to relax for a moment?' And I'm like, 'What are you talking about?' And she says, 'All I can hear are these heavy sighs, tossing and turning, just go to sleep.'

Golden State is currently 9-10 and has won just three of their last eleven games after a 6-2 start
The Warriors are currently 9-10 and have won three of their last eleven games after starting the season 6-2.
Their on-court struggles have also been exacerbated by availability issues for several key players, most notably four-time All-Star Draymond Green.
Green was suspended five games after putting the Minnesota Timberwolves in a headlock. He also picked up a technical foul on his return against the Kings, sparking San Antonio's monumental comeback.
Draymond Green's five-game suspension for headlocking Rudy Gobert has been a major factor for the Warriors so far this season
Golden State also lost SG/SF Gary Payton II for an extended period due to a torn right calf
'[It’s] disappointing because Draymond is responsible for a lot of our results,” Kerr told 95.7 The Game in a separate interview this week.
“He is a very powerful figure and he knows that and he and I have talked about that. But he has to use that power.”
“I was disappointed last night that he got that tech, a reaction to the mistake afterwards, because the momentum really swung in Sacramento's favor after that. So he has to get better, and he knows that.”
The Warriors have also been dealing with recent injury issues following key rotation player Gary Payton II's torn calf and the lower leg nerve injury suffered by 12-time All-Star Chris Paul.
