The latest report also reveals that Poor Things screenwriter Tony McNamara has signed on to write the script, based on Liefeld’s comic book.

This is the second major deal for the studio this week, after landing another seven-figure deal for a Chris Farley biopic starring Paul Walter Hauser and director Josh Gad.

According to this report, this deal with Avengelyne would be bigger than the biopic deal with Farley.

Avengelyne was created by Liefeld in 1995, based on the likeness of former Vampirella model Cathy Christian.

The comic was published by Maximum Press and was also inspired by Ben Dunn’s Warrior Nun Areala, which was adapted into the Warrior Nun Netflix series.

The character is described as an angel who fights the forces of evil and regularly comes into contact with demons and other nefarious creatures.

Although she single-handedly took on the devil himself, she was also banished from heaven after being tricked into questioning his love for humans.

Now she spends her time on Earth fighting demons, and is considered the world’s last hope to avert Armageddon.
