Wargaming is offering special game bundles to raise money for Ukraine
Developer Wargaming has launched a brand new charity initiative called WargamingUnited with the aim of raising money for Ukraine.
Amid the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, the developer behind World of tanks has announced a new plan to raise money specifically for the purchase of new ambulances for Ukrainian medics.
From October 18 to November 1, gamers can purchase special Ukraine-themed bundles World of tanks, World of Tanks blitz, World of Tanks modern armor, World of warships, World of Warships: LegendsAnd World of fighter planes.
Each bundle includes customization elements created by Wargaming’s artists at the Kiev studio, representing the colors of the Ukrainian flag, yellow and blue, in the respective games.
“Wargaming will donate 100% of the purchase price of each ‘WargamingUnited’ bundle to medical aid through UNITED24, Ukraine’s official fundraising platform, for the purchase of Type C ambulances needed to save lives,” the studio explained.
For World of tanksStarting now, players will receive the 50TP Resilient, a unique Tier VIII Premium heavy tank, as well as the Resilient camouflage, decals and inscriptions that can be equipped and displayed in their game.
The Spirit of Unity flag, Ukraine patch and Resilient camouflage are available for World of warshipswhile World of Tanks Blitz offers two bundles, both of which include resources and unique items such as a profile background, camouflage and an avatar.

At the time of writing, more than 36,000 bundles have been purchased for each game, although it is unclear how much money this has raised in total for charity.
The Russian invasion generated a lot of support for Ukraine within the games industry, with many companies and game development studios raising money and making donations for those affected.
Last year, Microsoft and PlayStation halted sales in Russia, while EA halted sales in the country and removed Russian teams FIFA22 And NHL 22. Amazon Games also halted the Russian localization of its MMO New world.
