The ‘devastated’ boyfriend of a young woman killed in a horror car crash has broken his silence to pay tribute to a ‘beautiful soul’ and ‘warrior’.
Sophie-Lee Fullagar was one of four people killed in a car crash in Wardell, near Ballina in northern New South Wales, on February 24.
It is understood the 24-year-old was driving a Mazda BT50 with three men, including her ex-boyfriend, when the car lost control at high speed.
Ms Fullagar’s grieving friend Jay Bee told Daily Mail Australia he “felt” something had happened the morning she was killed.

Ms Fullagar’s friend Jay Bee (pictured together) described her as a ‘beautiful soul’ and said he could ‘feel’ when she died
‘I felt it. Someone told me she was in the accident and I could just feel in my heart that she was gone,” he said.
‘I love that girl so much. I wish I could go back and tell her to stay home.”
Ms Fullagar split time between her boyfriend’s home in Byron Bay and her mother’s home in Ballina.
Mr Bee described Ms Fullagar as having a “beautiful girl” with “such a good soul” as he shared photos of their time together.
“She didn’t have to die so young,” he said.
‘I’ve just cried for the past three days. I asked my mother: “Why, why would this happen?”.
“All she could tell me is that sometimes things like this happen and people are called back to God.”
Some of his favorite moments with Mrs. Fullagar were spent searching for her favorite flower, frangipanis.
“She loves flowers and really loves frangipanis,” he said.
‘We went looking for them and tried to find the smallest one because she thought they were cute.
‘She used to like to look for big ones, now she likes to look for small ones.’

Mr Bee has spent the days after Ms Fullagar’s death reflecting on their “beautiful” relationship.
“She was always smiling and everyone was attracted to her,” he said.
‘She has the best smile and the best laugh, she was always so happy.
“Nobody wants to hear about the hard parts of her life, but she put up with a lot and still walked out every day with a smile on her face.”
He described her as “someone who would do anything for anyone.”
“Sophie would give you the shirt off her back and never worry about herself,” Mr. Bee said.
‘She never complained. She’s such a beautiful soul.’
