Opportunistic Napoli supporters are trying to auction grass off their historic Scudetto title victory following Thursday’s championship title result.
Napoli won their first Serie A title in 33 years by drawing 1–1 with Udinese in their midweek league tie as star striker Victor Osimhen scored his side’s only goal.
Supporters stormed the Udinese field to celebrate with their team, while Naples also celebrated emphatically after the whistle.
Videos circulated showing fans tearing up pieces of the Dacia Arena pitch and carefully packing pieces of the grass clippings into plastic bags to take back to Naples.
Some of those patches of grass are now being sold online by Napoli fans hoping to capitalize on their team’s historic success, with ridiculously high bids.

An ad selling a small square plot of land, about the size of a board, will welcome bids from £88 and a purchase price of over £600.
The seller provided a brief description of the item and labeled the item as ‘brand new’.
Meanwhile, Napoli supporters watching their team’s title triumph at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona couldn’t cut any pieces off their home pitch.
However, there were also unsavory scenes as some supporters clashed on the pitch
Club staff had placed a giant blue cover over the pitch that prevented fans from accessing the hallowed grass below.
However, there was also a dark side to the celebrations in the city, with more than 200 people injured when fans clashed on the pitch in Udine.
Belts were used by some to inflict damage and people were seen lying on the ground trying to prevent strikes from hitting them in the head.
At least 203 people were hospitalized overnight for injuries sustained during the celebrations – from knife wounds to burns from fireworks and asthma attacks caused by smoke inhalation from flares.
