An elderly grandfather recalls the terrifying moment when he was punched and kicked by a motorcyclist on his way to the beach.
Alan White, 91, with a black eye, was still visibly shaken almost 24 hours after the harrowing ordeal in Wannanup, southwest of Perth, as he bravely returned to the scene.
A man, 70, has since been charged after WA police released confrontational CCTV footage Friday afternoon of the shocking road rage incident in a beachside parking lot.
Mr. White got out of his red SUV when a motorcycle pulled up next to him.
CCTV footage shows Mr White walking away as the rider kicks the side of the car before confronting the grandfather of seven.
Mr. White tries to stand his ground before being punched several times in the face and falling to the floor, where he is kicked repeatedly.

The motorcyclist then drives off, leaving the pensioner bleeding and injured on the ground.
“I was about to get out of my car and this bike stopped next to me. I think it was a Harley and this guy got out,” Mr White told reporters.
“I couldn’t understand what he was saying because he had a helmet on and a scarf on his face.
“I walked away and before I knew it I heard a bang as he kicked the side of my car.
‘Anyway, I’m not quite sure… he put some on me.
“I remember picking myself up and him kicking me… the bastard.”
Mr White does not know why he was allegedly attacked.
“I could pick up on him saying something about me cutting him off,” he said.

“But I had just taken the boys along the track from my house to here. And I can’t see where I cut someone off.’
“I didn’t understand what his problem was. But it was a dirty job, wasn’t it?’
Mr White drove home and was later taken to Peel Health Campus to be treated for concussion and soft tissue injuries.
Police labeled the alleged attack “disgusting.”
“This type of behavior is simply unacceptable in our community and especially in the vulnerable members of our community,” said Acting Superintendent Steven Jones.
“We don’t tolerate this kind of behavior.”
WA police have since charged a 70-year-old man with one count of aggravated assault resulting in bodily harm and one count of criminal damage.
He will appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court on September 15.
