A desperate influencer with more than 400,000 Instagram followers has revealed that he refuses to talk to his own family because they are not famous.

California-based Larz, 23, told the Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O on Monday, he stopped talking to his non-famous relatives as his profile started to grow.

“I’m just more famous than anyone and I won’t talk to people who aren’t unless they get the same number of followers as me,” he told hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

Henderson then asked Larz if he ever gets lonely after breaking up with his family, and he replied that his famous friends are better company.

“I miss them sometimes, but I can talk to Cardi B or someone like that,” he said.

He then revealed that he has nine siblings but has blocked them all on social media and will not unblock them until they significantly increase their following.

Larz made headlines in 2020 when he was hospitalized with Covid just days after he posted a video of him licking a toilet bowl before a horrific TikTok challenge.

The influencer, who was also part of a fad that saw young people licking ice trays in supermarkets, tweeted: “I tested positive for coronavirus.”

At the time, Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan publicly lashed out at Larz, saying contracting the virus was ‘karma’.

Larz previously appeared on Dr Phil with another influencer, Bameron Kall, where they discussed how they’d licked tubs of ice and spit mouthwash back into the bottle in viral videos.

“I don’t talk to my family,” Larz told Dr. Phil. “They’re irrelevant. None of them have followers. If they got followers or got rich, I’d probably talk to them again.”

He boasted that he had “a lot of money” from paid sponsorship deals on his social media accounts, where he posts pictures of luxury cars and celebrities.
