Wanda Sykes made Jimmy Kimmel hysterical this week when she shared her honest thoughts about Donald Trump winning the US presidential election earlier this month.
The 60-year-old comedian and actress appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and didn’t hold back when the late night host asked her how she was feeling after Trump’s victory on November 5.
“Jimmy, I’m a black woman and a lesbian, how do you think I’m doing?” Wanda blurted out when he asked her what her opinion was on why the Republicans won.
‘Sometimes America is just America. I mean, there’s so many reasons why you can say it happened, but I think a lot of us aren’t totally shocked,” she admitted.
“But you know what, you get hope and you move on, and honestly, I blame those damn Cheerio commercials with all those interracial couples!” she joked as Jimmy, 57, burst out laughing.
“You scared the white people! They say, “What are you all doing?” It’s just cereal, just sell the damn cereal! Why are you involving us in this?
“There are gay couples selling stuff, it’s like, ‘just sell your stuff’, don’t involve us!’ she added.
Wanda continued, “The finger pointing and stuff doesn’t really help much, like ‘oh it’s your fault, it’s your fault,’ but it’s like it just happened, it is what it is.”

The Black-ish star then pointed out that many people are wondering, “Why don’t the majority of white women vote for another woman?” and she quickly made another joke.
“I’m like, ‘Y’all need to watch more Bravo!’ Why are you shocked? I mean, have you seen The Bachelor? Women tear each other apart over a guy, so what makes you think this wouldn’t happen? Real housewives, they do the same!’ she said.
When Jimmy asked Wanda what “baffled” her most about Trump’s policies, she shared her thoughts on a very specific topic.
“Looking for transgender people,” she replied. “Especially transgender kids, because the point is you’re trying to solve America’s problems, so you’re targeting a community that’s less than one percent of the population?
“So you go for affirming care, as far as sex is concerned, and it’s like, okay, so you focus on that, on gender reassignment, how about focusing on climate change that affects everyone instead of gender reassignment that one per person per cent?’ she suggested as she was met with applause.
“And it’s all fears, like ‘you know, your son goes to school as a boy and comes home as a girl,’ I’m like, ‘relax, it’s a man bun!’ Shut up!’ she joked as Jimmy laughed in response.
“Do you see anything positive coming out of this?” Then he asked her as she scoffed, “If I’m a straight, white man, then I’m fine!”
Jimmy then pointed out that her wife, Alex Niedbalski, is French and asked Wanda if she wanted to move to Europe in the wake of the election results and British celebrities fleeing the US.

‘My ancestors have too much blood in this country, I’m not going anywhere! No!’ she quickly shot back.
“And here’s the thing, I’ll tell you right now: Black women don’t have it right now, okay! So black women, give them a break now,” she continued.
“We’re just chilling right now so don’t ask us stupid questions and stuff, don’t look at us with those puppy dog eyes like ‘I’m sorry’ because then you’ll get punched in the gut ‘I’m telling you now,'” warned them.
“Jimmy, black women are taking a break! Hell, I probably shouldn’t even be here right now! I should be at home in my house shoes with a hat on my head!’ she joked.
