Paris Hilton personally apologizes to Walmart shopper who slammed socialite’s ‘gross’ new kitchen knife collection

Paris Hilton was forced to apologize to a TikTok user after a scathing review of her Walmart kitchen knife collection went viral.

A shopper named Kathleen went to the video app to complain about Hilton’s “sticky and dirty” knives, which she said were “unusable” after they were washed.

Kathleen explained that the knives’ “pink, clear gemstone handles” reacted badly to soap and hot water. The Paris brand’s 10-piece knife set, which retails for $69.99 at Walmart, features cut-out hearts on gold blades with glittery handles.

The clip has now been viewed more than 4 million times and even prompted a response from Hilton’s own TikTok account.

The socialite said: ‘I’m sorry this happened. I’m going to ask my team to talk to the manufacturer because that’s clearly not acceptable. Let me know if I can send you something as an apology. P.’

Kathleen posted a video on July 11 showing off what she described as “unusable” knives she bought online from Paris Hilton’s kitchen collection

Kathleen said she looked at the kitchen collection because she liked having a “little accent” in her home every now and then.

She became attracted to the knives after seeing the hearts on the blade.

The customer ordered the product online, but once it arrived she noticed that the pink handles were still in good condition.

She said in the clip posted July 11, “I don’t know what this is… Resin or acrylic or whatever… Soap and hot water shouldn’t do this.”

She added that the handles “didn’t smell like anything,” but she still planned to return them and go back to using her “boring knives.”

However, she quickly forgave the socialite after receiving a personal apology from her.

In response to Hilton’s comment, Kathleen said, “Oh my new BFF Paris. I just have to talk to your manufacturers. But if you want to design a knife with heart-shaped cutouts with a different handle, I’m in the market to buy it.”

According to Walmart’s website, the knife set is described as “beautiful and durable” and adds “a touch of style” to the kitchen.

The Pink 2-Piece Stainless Steel Santoku Knife Set is one of many items from Paris Hilton’s kitchen collection for Walmart.

According to Walmart’s website, the set is described as “beautiful and durable” and adds “a touch of style” to the kitchen.

Both knives have ergonomic handles, reducing the risk of injury and improving efficiency.

To properly clean knives, stores advise customers to hand wash their knives for best results. This is stated in the product description.

Several Walmart customers who purchased the product did not have the same experience as Kathleen and left rave reviews about the product on the store’s website.

Walmart customers have left positive and negative reviews about the knives Kathleen purchased. One customer admitted that they have “little faith in the handle”

“Don’t sleep on it guys. Really great. I’ve ordered more Paris Hilton stuff. I hope this and her other stuff lasts,” one shopper wrote last month.

Another Walmart customer wrote: ‘This item looks too good to use, but it is very sharp, comfortable to use and glamorous! It is also not badly made, it is perfect and cute.’

Unfortunately, not all Walmart customers were positive about the knives.

“They are quite cute and would go very well with French chic or other pink or feminine kitchen decor,” one customer wrote in June.

“I don’t have much confidence in the lever because it looks like it will come off easily.”

Hilton responded to Kathleen’s TikTok video and apologized for what happened with the knives

One commenter who was less than positive about Hilton’s products lashed out at the “super cheap” collection, claiming she had issues with the handles.

‘The pot handle burns super fast if not placed properly and gives off a burning plastic smell. They also broke super fast.’

“My Paris Hilton knives aren’t clear and I didn’t even know they had a clear version. We have the one with the heart-shaped knife block,” one TikToker wrote.

“I’m sad for you. Our knives are one of the best parts of my kitchen.”
