Walmart just announced its rival Prime Day sale – here’s a sneak peek at the best deals

While everyone is eagerly awaiting the official date of Amazon Prime Day (which may have been accidentally leaked), Walmart is jumping in by announcing a major competitive sale: “Walmart Deals.”

The Walmart Deals sale starts Monday, July 8 at 5 PM ET and lasts until Thursday, July 11 at midnight, and Walmart Plus members get early access starting at 12 PM ET. Walmart’s press release claims this will be the retailer’s biggest savings event ever, with offers on its best-selling items including tech gadgets, homewares, toys, travel items and back-to-school must-haves.

While Amazon isn’t mentioned, we know from past years that Walmart always launches a summer sale in July to try to grab a piece of the Prime Day pie. Walmart is trying to compete with the retail giant by offering similar or even better deals and exclusives.

Unlike Amazon, Walmart has given us a sneak peek at the bargains during its July sale, and I’ve listed some of the best deals below. These include discounts on TVs, vacuum cleaners, kitchen appliances, popular toys, laptops, and more.
