Wall Street bosses including Blackstone and Goldman Sachs have flown in to hear Rishi Sunak outline £29.5bn of new UK investment.
Last night the Prime Minister said some of the world’s top bosses have committed billions to new UK projects ahead of today’s Global Investment Summit.
The investments are worth three times the amount raised at the last summit of 2021 and will create more than 12,000 jobs, according to the government.
Stephen Schwarzman, CEO of asset management giant Blackstone, will join Sunak on stage at Hampton Court Palace to discuss the skills and technology needed.
British fashion designer Anya Hindmarch will also be present.
