Queer comedian Reuben Kaye left The Project panel stunned after an x-rated joke about Jesus live.
On Tuesday night, Kaye opened up about the hate she receives for her beliefs and dressing as a woman, especially from the online Christian and Catholic community before cracking a cheeky joke about Jesus.
“I love Jesus, I love any man who can get nailed for three days straight and come back for more,” Kaye quipped.
His line left the panel speechless, especially Waleed Aly, who looked on in shock.
However, Sarah Harris laughed at the gay comedian’s joke as the cast was left speechless.

Kaye is known for his crude humor which is combined with singing and general showmanship in his comedy shows.
The panel was left speechless after the joke about Jesus being nailed to a cross when Sarah Harris couldn’t help but laugh.
Kaye, in her first appearance on The Project, said this was her appearance to advertise in Australia as she will be performing at multiple comedy festivals in Australia before joking about things like sexuality and racism.
“I want to poke the bear,” he said.
“I’m so spread out across this country that it might as well be systemic racism.”
