Waikiki manhunt: Young woman is sexually assaulted by ‘tradie’ at bus stop in Perth

An urgent manhunt is underway for a tradesman who attacked a young woman at a bus stop.

A man believed to be in his 30s approached the woman in her 20s at bus stop 17254 on Read Street in Waikiki, on the southern outskirts of Perth, at approximately 4.50pm on August 7.

According to police, the two had a brief conversation before the man assaulted her.

Rockingham detectives have released grainy dashcam footage of the man in the hopes people will recognise him.

Police are looking for a man in his thirties who assaulted a woman in her twenties on August 7 at 4:50 p.m.

He was described as 170cm tall, medium-sized and with dark skin.

He wore a bright yellow jacket, a maroon hat, black pants and black shoes.
