The head of Russian private army Wagner has trolled the West showing a bloodied sledgehammer he wants to present to the European Parliament.

Vladimir Putin’s crony Yevgeny Prigozhin was responding to a vote to declare Russia a ‘state sponsor of terrorism’.

The sick stunt relates to an episode in which a Wagner fighter from Russia was bludgeoned to death with a sledgehammer after defecting to Ukraine, before being exchanged back allegedly at his request.

Yevgeny Nuzhin, 55, was passed by Russian officials to Wagner operatives and a video appeared showing him being sledgehammered to death with a strike to the head.

The extrajudicial killing was purportedly punishment for the convicted murderer-turned-mercenary’s ‘treachery’ in switching sides to Ukraine.

At the time billionaire Prigozhin sought to justify the killing of the ‘traitor’, saying it was a ‘dog’s death’ for a ‘dog’.

Prigozhin posted about the sledgehammer, in a violin case, which he wants to be presented to the MEPs.

‘I don’t know what law the European Parliament is guided by, but according to our legislation, from today we declare the European Parliament dissolved,’ he said.

The sledgehammer was given by Prigozhin’s lawyer to a representative of a pro-war channel CYBER FRONT Z supposedly to be passed to the Strasbourg parliament.

A new barrage of Putin missile attacks hit Ukraine on Wednesday soon after the parliament voted to designate Russia as a ‘state sponsor of terrorism’.

Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba accused Putin’s regime of ‘celebrating’ terrorist status with new ‘missile terror’.

Prigozhin is believed to have recruited as many as 35,000 prison inmates including one ‘maniac’ killer convicted of cannibalism, ‘hundreds of murderers’, and rapists to fight for Putin in Ukraine.

He personally leads a recruitment drive in prisons across Russia.

As many as 40 have been illegally executed for ‘desertion or treason’ by Wagner private army, said a leading human rights authority.

Billionaire Prigozhin, himself a former prisoner, boasted in one meeting with convicts: ‘I have special powers from the President [Putin].

‘I don’t give a f*** about anyone, I’ve got to win this f****** war at any cost.’

He was formerly in charge of arranging lavish Kremlin banquets for Putin.

He also runs so-called troll factories engaging in social media warfare on behalf of his master.

Nuzhin had been convicted of murder in 1999, and joining Wagner let him leave prison early.

His son Ilya Nuzhin, 31, said: ‘He was killed without a court investigation, killed like an animal.’

Second son Nikita, 28, said: ‘Even animals aren’t killed like this…’
