WAG Candice Warner doesn’t want news outlets to focus on her tryst with Sonny Bill Williams

Queen of WAGs Candice Warner ‘wants to shut down conversation about her tryst with Sonny Bill Williams’ as she talks all about the moment in upcoming memoir Running Strong

Candice Warner is gearing up for a publicity blitz for her telling memoir Running Strong, which has already netted her an $80,000 advance.

However, before the Queen of WAGs, 38, makes her interview appearances, she has publicity squads ahead of her to avoid certain questions.

In particular, she wants to destroy the mention of her Clovelly Hotel bathroom appointments with football player Sonny Bill Williams, it was reported The Sydney Morning Herald on Saturday.

The shocking incident, in which she was photographed in a compromising position with Sonny by a spy, caused a huge media frenzy.

Rupert Murdoch’s media company News Ltd initially published her “toilet tryst” images, but Candice has nevertheless decided to sign a media exclusivity deal with the conglomerate.

She is reportedly now sending publicity teams from Murdoch-owned publishing house Harper Collins to convince news editors not to focus on that aspect of her past.

However, an insider has revealed that the scoop on her entanglement with Sonny is “all anyone wants.”

It comes after Candice spoke up the night she was caught having a bathroom appointment with Sonny Bill, 35, on a night out at the Clovelly Hotel in 2007.

She especially wants to destroy the mention of her Clovelly Hotel bathroom appointments with footballer Sonny Bill Williams, 37, (pictured), The Sydney Morning Herald reported on Saturday.

“I was almost suicidal. I’ve been through a lot at such a young age. I got to the point where I literally couldn’t take it anymore,” she told The Daily Telegraph in 2020.

The former athlete suffered further after her husband David was caught cheating during a test match in South Africa in 2018.

Candice married David in 2015 and they share three daughters Ivy Mae, eight, Indi Rae, seven, and Isla Rose, three.

Candice was only 22 when the incident took place and said she had a hard time dealing with the public humiliation and subsequent fallout.
