Virgin Australia airline staff are detained in Fiji over a mysterious incident after landing
Three Virgin Australia crew members have been locked in their hotel rooms following a mysterious ‘incident’ after a flight to Fiji.
The incident happened after the plane landed at Nadi International Airport on Tuesday.
The crew members are currently confined to separate rooms at Hotel Tanoa.
Virgin officials have flown to Fiji to investigate the incident, Seven News reported.
The families of the crew members involved have traveled to the island.
A replacement crew will cover the flight back to Australia.

Virgin Australia confirmed an incident had occurred in Fiji but declined to provide more details.
“Our focus is on the wellbeing of our affected team members,” a spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
“Out of respect for our crew, we will make no further comment.”
