An online debate has been brewing since the video shared on July 27 went viral on X (formerly known as Twitter). The video has been viewed nearly 12,000 times and has received around 200 likes. Many X users also shared their thoughts in the comments section of the viral video, urging strict action against the teacher.
Another video of the same teacher has also gone viral, in which she is seen hitting students. The Block Education Officer confirmed that both the viral videos show the same teacher, but the latter was a senior.
District Primary Education Officer Rakesh Singh told news agency ANI that the teacher had fallen from her chair and children were fanning her as she needed immediate medical attention.
“The investigation found that the claim that she was fanning her child was not true. The teacher had fallen from a chair and the children were fanning her because she needed first aid,” Singh said.
However, many reports state that the teacher has been suspended.
