Sydney Thomas, the ring girl who rose to fame after Mike Tyson’s clash with Jake Paul, has revealed that an SEC football coach “tried to shoot his shot” via social media.
Thomas, a student at the University of Alabama, became an overnight sensation after the Tyson-Paul fight in November.
She was soon bombarded with business offers from brands and it turned out that the crème de la crème of college football had also reached out.
During a performance at the ‘Like a farmer’s podcastthe 21-year-old answered several questions, including the “craziest DM you’ve gotten since the Paul fight.”
She replied, “It was from another coach on the SEC football team and they just DM’d me, ‘Roll Tide.'”
Thomas did not want to reveal the coach’s identity. “I’m not going to say which coach it was, but they’re Alabama fans, at least now.

In the video, captioned “college coach shoots his shot,” she added with a laugh, “We’ll let everyone figure out who it was.”
The Tuscaloosa girl now has more than 1 million followers on TikTok and nearly a million on Instagram — while still studies at the University of Alabama.
She is last monthturned on the boxing ring in front of the basketball court and headed to Atlanta to record her first ever N.B.A game.
The ring girl, who stole the show during the controversial Tyson-Paul fight, enjoyed VIP treatment as the Atlanta Hawks took on the Miami Heat at State Farm Arena.
The Hawks shared a photo of her court during the game, before Thomas quoted it and said, “First NBA game” along with a check mark emoji.
