A violent fight in the stands of a hockey game on Friday resulted in a male fan being bitten on the tip of his finger, police revealed.
A massive brawl between spectators broke out at Mullett Arena in Arizona last week during the Coyotes’ 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins, and footage of the shocking incident later surfaced online.
In the melee, fans fell onto the seats, and police have now confirmed that one man even lost the tip of his finger when another spectator bit it.
In a statement, shared by Fox10, Arizona State University police revealed: “Individual arrested for aggravated assault bit another individual’s fingertip during the fight.

In clips posted online, several fans got into a shoving match before exchanging brutal jabs and punches.
Some ended up falling on the seats as a man brought a woman to the ground with a heavy blow.
The force of the shot knocked her down several rows, but she was back on her feet soon after.

Police officers went to the scene and tried to break up the violent riot in the stands
A police officer can be seen watching the melee before other police officers rush to intervene. An officer then tried to break up the junk, but he, too, was sent flying into the bars.
The altercation appeared to stop when more police officers arrived on the scene.
Incredibly, a later video posted to social media appeared to show the bitten finger passing through a crowd, while a separate photo showed a man walking around with a heavily bandaged finger.
In the game itself, the Coyotes snapped a 19-game losing streak to the Bruins after Lawson Crouse scored the game-winner in the third period.
