Violent Brisbane home invasion captured on CCTV as intruder allegedly pointed a gun at a child’s head and threatened a mother he’d ‘put one in her f***ing skull’

Terrifying footage has captured the moment hooded intruders forced their way into a family’s home and allegedly held a gun to a child’s head during a violent home invasion.

Four hooded armed men broke into the home of Khaleefa Al Shamari in South MacLean, about 45 kilometers southwest of Brisbane, just before 9pm on Thursday.

Gruesome CCVT footage captured the moment Mr Al Shamari and his wife and their four children were allegedly threatened by the invaders.

Armed intruders broke into a south Queensland home, with the hooded robbers (pictured) seen brandishing bats before threatening the family inside the property

They entered the house through the back door before breaking in as the family sat in the living room watching television.

At one point, Shamari’s seven-year-old son Mustafa said one of the armed men allegedly pointed a gun at him and threatened to shoot him.

“He broke down my door and then just came in and pointed the gun at me,” he told 7 News.

“He said, if you make any noise, I’ll shoot you.”

After breaking into the house, the intruders began barking orders at the frightened family.

One man allegedly threatened to shoot Mr Al Shamari’s wife and could be heard saying: ‘I’ll put one in her f***ing skull’.

They also allegedly tried to take her handbag, with the man also heard saying: ‘Where’s your bloody handbag, where?’ Grab it!’.

She was allegedly hit with cricket bats, while Mr Al Shamari suffered injuries to his shoulder and eye.

Mr Al Shamari said several items, including $20,000 in gold and more than $2,000 in cash, were believed to have been stolen.

“They took the gold … and they got the $2,500 in cash,” he said.

Mr Al Shamari suffered several injuries including a wound to his shoulder during the terrifying incident, while his wife was reportedly hit with a cricket bat.

The thugs also took the couple’s phone before fleeing the scene with what appeared to be several batons and a firearm.

CCTV footage captured the moment the robbers tried to take off in two of Mr Al Shamari’s cars, having previously stolen the keys to both vehicles.

They were unable to drive away after an electric fence at the front of the house prevented them from escaping, forcing them to flee on foot.

Mr Al Shamari was heard shouting loudly as he chased the robbers, while his wife could be seen in distress.

He then went looking for the men, but could not find them.

The intruders are still on the run and Queensland Police are investigating the incident.

“The perpetrators … stole a quantity of property before leaving the premises in a small sedan,” police said in a statement.

‘A 51-year-old woman suffered a non-life-threatening injury as a result of the incident.

“Four children, between the ages of 7 and 17, were not physically injured.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is urged to contact police or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
