Viola Davis goes makeup free with her husband Julius Tennon during coffee run in LA… after being snubbed for a Golden Globe nomination for Air
Viola Davis isn't letting a criticism at the Golden Globes ruin her week.
The Oscar winner, 58, was spotted grabbing coffee with her husband Julius Tennon in Beverly Hills on Tuesday after missing out on a Globes nomination for her work with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck in Air.
Viola went makeup-free for the outing and let her natural beauty take center stage as she wore a chic black leather jacket and faded denim.
She added a headscarf and leather crossbody bag to the mix, while her actor husband also kept it casual in a gray T-shirt, matching trousers and a baseball cap.
The outing comes after her Air co-star Damon received a Golden Globe nod, with the film nabbing a spot in the Musical or Comedy category.

Viola was left out of the race, despite her rise to prominence in the season as Michael Jordan's mother in the film.
The same Globes candy happened to Viola last year for The Woman King, with the Oscars also shutting her out.
The Woman King was a box office success and performed far beyond expectations.
“Black women can be at the center of a story and we can lead a global box office and make films that are meaningful to everyone,” Viola shared. EW at the time.
Earlier this year, Viola achieved EGOT status after winning her first Grammy.
She won Best Audiobook, Narration and Narration Recording for her memoir, Finding Me, at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
The big win came after an Emmy win for How to Get Away With Murder (2015), an Oscar for Fences (2017) and a Tony for both King Hedley II (2001) and Fences (2010).
She is only the third Black woman to achieve EGOT status, making her the 18th person to receive this distinction.

“I wrote this book to honor six-year-old Viola — to honor her life, her joy, her trauma, her everything,” Viola said in her Grammy acceptance speech. “And it's been such a journey. I'm just EGOT!'
Next up for Viola is a chance to play the President of the United States.
She will star as the commander-in-chief in an action/adventure film called G20, which revolves around terrorists attacking the G20 summit.
