They appeared amid a top cast including Rip Torn, Hank Azaria, Christine Taylor, Missi Pyle, Alan Tudyk, William Shatner and Jason Bateman.

Now Justin has revealed in a new interview that Vince has told me he has a great idea for a sequel. I don’t know if he had already thrown it to Ben, but I set up the field a bit, I felt like I had to facilitate the field.”

Out and about: Justin Long, who also appeared in the original film in 2004, told ComicBook.com that Vince has a “great” and “funny idea” for a sequel; Justin is in the picture in August

Justin gushed that “I’d love to do it and I hope it happens,” but shared that Ben was “a little hesitant to make a sequel to something so beloved, something people enjoy so much.”

He acknowledged: ‘It’s very risky, you don’t want to shoot the original, you want something just as good. So I think he’s a little hesitant about that, trying to recreate something that was very specific to the era, but I hope he takes over.”

Justin added: ‘Vince is a very convincing person, so I hope Vince can convince him with his idea. It’s a funny idea, I don’t want to say what it is.’

But despite Ben’s possible doubts about a Dodgeball sequel, Justin said, “I know Ben loves dodgeball and that character.”

Justin continued, “I remember how much fun he had playing it. He always smiled. Years later, when we got together to have a little mini reunion for this charity and Ben put the mustache back on, I remember talking about how happy it made him to play White Goodman again and how much fun that character was. used to be.’

The Zac And Miri Make A Porno actor said, “I know Vince has a great idea for it and it’s just a matter of getting Ben in.”

Six years ago, Ben teamed up again with his Zoolander colleague Owen Wilson for a sequel that was devastated by the critics and also turned out to be a blockbuster.

He confessed Esquire that Zoolander 2 flopped between his mother’s death and his marital separation was “not a great experience.”

In 2017, Ben divorced his wife Christine Taylor, who starred with him in both Dodgeball and Zoolander, but they were reunited during the COVID-19 pandemic.
