Vile double murderer goes viral for sickening courtroom act – as he learns his fate for strangling and running over two female victims

Earlier this week, a convicted murderer was spotted grinning in a Florida courtroom as the jury recommended he be put to death for the brutal murder of two women.

Wade Wilson was found guilty of strangling Kristine Melton while she slept after meeting her at a bar in 2019.

Later that same day, he beat, choked and ran over Diane Ruiz with his car after seeing her on the street.

The jury at the Lee County Courthouse in Fort Myers delivered its verdict. Ten of the twelve jurors voted in favor of the death penalty for Ruiz’s murder and nine of the twelve voted in favor of Melton’s murder.

State law requires at least eight jurors to vote in favor of the death penalty. Judge Nicholas Thompson will make the final decision July 23.

Aside from the brutality of his crimes, it was Wilson’s demeanor in court, in which he appeared “smug” and “smirking,” that made the case go viral.

On social media, people called him “soulless” and expressed anger at his perceived lack of remorse.

One user on I’m not an ‘eye for an eye’ person. I never have been. But Wade Wilson’s smug aloofness makes me think that living in a cell with three meals a day, in gene pop, is not okay.”

Another commented: “Note the psychopathic grin on the serial strangler’s face.”

‘Wade Wilson was sentenced to death in Florida for the murder of two women. His own father turned him because the creature was a soulless monster,’ noted a third.

Following the jury’s recommendation that Wilson receive the death penalty, Assistant State’s Attorney Sara Miller provided a statement.

“You know, you’re asking someone to take another life, and so it’s always difficult. I think in this case it was a justified act, given the horrific nature of this case. Both of these murders were particularly horrific, gruesome, and cruel. He hurt her and showed total indifference toward her [Melton’s] to live.’

The trial exposed the gruesome details of Wilson’s crimes, while also highlighting the impact on the victims’ families.

During the sentencing phase of Wilson’s murder trial, the defense argued that Wilson had a “sick mind” and struggled with a drug addiction.

ASA Miller dismissed the claims, telling jurors: “It is not credible that mental illness drove the suspect to kill Kristine Melton and Diane Ruiz. He was under the influence of power, lust, control and hatred. A lot of people suffer from drug addictions, but they don’t go out and commit murders.”
