A DoorDash driver was caught on camera last week hurling racial slurs at a customer while delivering an order in North Carolina.
In the Ring doorbell footage, the worker was caught delivering a bag of food to the front door before crouching near the stairs and saying: ‘Here’s your s***, n*****. Come and get it.”
The unnamed driver then adds: ‘here n*****, n*****, n*****. This is so much fun” before shouting “f*** you” at the door as she stands up and walks down the stairs.
The incident occurred on October 24 at 3:27 PM in Durham, North Carolina.

The customer shared the video online and tagged DoorDash
TikTok user ‘adore.brincess’ shared the footage and captioned it: ‘Experience a racist Door Dasher.
“Mind you, I never talked to her, never saw her, or anything!”
She added, “@DoorDash this was absolutely the most heartbreaking and worst experience I have ever had dealing with DoorDash and Lil Melanie, count your days.”
The video went viral and quickly received 52,600 likes.
TikTok users rushed to Jones’ defense, with one saying: “I’m sorry you had to go through that, I wouldn’t touch that food for fear she did something with it.”
Another said: ‘I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry. It hurts my heart that this happened. This was wrong.’

DoorDash commented on the video: “We are absolutely shocked that you had to deal with this experience!”
The company later added that they had fired the employee involved and “permanently removed” their profile from the platform.
A DoorDash spokesperson said: “Racism has absolutely no place in the DoorDash community.
“The behavior of the individual in this video is abhorrent, disgusting and completely unacceptable, and we have permanently removed their account from our platform.
‘Our team is in direct contact with consumers to provide our support and help make things right.’
