Vikings stars flawlessly execute famous dance from iconic comedy film to celebrate intercepting their former QB
The Vikings recreated an iconic movie dance scene on Sunday to celebrate an interception, leaving fans in awe of the stunning choreography between two players.
Linebacker Josh Metellus picked off the Falcons’ Kirk Cousins early in the second quarter, as the former Vikings passer threw his first of two interceptions that day.
And Metellus wasted little time breaking into the famous “White Chicks” dance battle sequence with teammate Cam Bynum as the rest of Minnesota’s defense cheered them on.
The dance, originally done by the film’s stars Marlon and Shawn Wayans, starts with a high-five and includes several synchronized steps before one person is turned around by the other at the end.
Video of the Viking dance of their eventual 42-21 victory has racked up more than 1.4 million views on X, where fans have praised the hilarious moment.
“CELEBRATION OF THE YEAR,” one person wrote with a crying-laughing emoji.

“That’s actually fire lol,” said another.
“I hate the Vikings but I have to admit they have the best celebrations,” a third added.
Earlier this season, Bynum and Metellus referenced another iconic movie when they recreated the handshake from “Parent Trap.”
The film’s star, Lindsey Lohan, played divorced twins Annie James and Hallie Parker would perform the handshake with the family’s butler, Martin.
She then taught it to Hallie, who lived with their father (Dennis Quaid) in California, to make sure no one would notice if they switched places after summer camp.
Aside from Metellus and Bynum bringing their dances back, it was a great day for the Vikings as they improved to 11-2 on the year.
Sam Darnold threw for 347 yards and five touchdowns, both career highs, and the Minnesota Vikings pulled away from Cousins and the Falcons for their sixth straight victory.

Darnold added another highlight to his brilliant first season in Minnesota following Cousins’ departure in free agency to Atlanta with a 22-of-28 performance and no turnover-worthy plays despite heavy pressure in the first half.
Darnold passed for 250 yards after halftime to help the Vikings break a 21-all tie early in the fourth quarter and fall one game behind NFC North-leading Detroit with a final week matchup looming with the Lions.
Jordan Addison had eight catches for 133 yards and three scores and Justin Jefferson had seven receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns after going the past six games without scoring.
The Vikings are still alive to guide the Lions to the NFC North title and will face Detroit in the regular season finale on Jan. 5.
