Viewers have criticized ABC’s Australia Day Live event at the Sydney Opera House on Thursday night.
The event featured performances by some of the country’s biggest stars including Casey Donovan, Dami Im and Christine Anu.
But many viewers were unimpressed by the concert and took to social media in droves to criticize the sound quality and song choice.

However, some viewers enjoyed the show, writing: “So beautiful, I was so blown away by the quality of the show, the performers, the music, the water acts, the lighting, the coordinated fireworks, it had something for everyone.” Casey Donavon was superb and Jeremy Fernandez was impeccable as always.’
“Lovely to hear one of the most beautiful #opera pieces ever @ABCTV flower duet #AustraliaDayLive,” another said.

Some viewers did enjoy the show though, with one writing: ‘So beautiful, I was so impressed with the quality of the show, the performers, the music, the water acts, the lighting, the coordinated fireworks that it had something for everyone.
