Viewers consider Netflix’s ‘chilling’ new drama series a ‘must-watch’ with ‘amazing performances’.
Based on a devastating true story, ‘The Railway Men – The Untold Story Of Bhopal 1984’ follows the brave railway workers who risked their lives to save others after a deadly gas leak from a factory in the city.
The miniseries consists of four episodes, starting with the hours leading up to the disaster.
The show, starring Indian actors R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon and Divyenndu, was released on November 8 and has since received widespread acclaim from viewers.
The Bhopal gas tragedy was the world’s worst industrial accident, killing seventy times more people than Chernobyl.

The catastrophe occurred on December 2, 1984, when just after midnight a storage tank at the Union Carbide chemical plant began leaking more than 40 tons of methyl isocyanate gas.
It immediately killed at least 3,800 people and resulted in the premature deaths of thousands more over the next few years.
More than 500,000 residents of small towns around the power plants were exposed to the toxic gas.
Now the four episodes retell the tragic story to a new audience on Netflix, which is already calling it “the best series Netflix has ever made.”
