Video shows Patrick Carroll spitting in the face of the Miami restaurant manager

Billionaire real estate developer Patrick Carroll has been banned from five Miami restaurants after allegedly spitting in a manager’s face.

Carroll, 43, is accused of yelling at the maître d’ of Japanese restaurant Hiyakawa for trying to stop him from following a woman on a date to the bathroom.

Angel Weill is now suing Carroll, claiming he was left shaken and unable to eat after their April 12 altercation.

Video obtained by The real thing shows Carroll fighting Weill. Weill says he spat in his face during their altercation, but Carroll’s reps insist it was a “pantomime” spit.

The incident came after Carroll reportedly called the manager of posh Italian chain Carbone a “street n****r” during a tirade in December.

During the April 12 incident in Hiyakawa, Carroll — who is worth an estimated $8.2 billion — was having dinner with three male friends.

The woman he was attracted to was sitting at a nearby table on a date.

Carroll asked Weill if he could offer the woman a drink, which the maître d’ politely refused.

As the meal progressed, Carroll tried – without taking no for an answer – to follow the woman to the toilet.

Carroll representatives did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s questions.

In a statement to The Real Deal, his rep claimed he showed “tremendous restraint” in the way he treated Weill.

The restaurant is one of Miami’s most popular tickets. Only 50 covers are served per night and the staff takes great pride in the guest experience.

Carroll and his friends were dining at the bar while the woman and her date sat at a nearby table.

Weill walked over to guide the interaction.

An irate Carroll complained to his friends that Weill was “exposing” him, the complaint alleges.

Later, Carroll – wearing his leather jacket – gestured to his face and appeared to spit.

He also allegedly told Weill he didn’t care and pointed to his “$20 shirt and $10 tie.”

When restaurant owner Alvaro Perez Miranda learned of the incident, he banned Carroll from all three of his Miami eateries.

Carroll had already been banned from all Major Food Group restaurants in Miami as a result of the December Carbone incident.

In that case, Carroll would have rejected a glass of wine poured for one of his guests.

Carroll has also been banned from Carbone Miami and the Dirty French Steakhouse. In December, he allegedly called a Carbone service manager a “street n****r.”

The lawsuit claims he followed a Carbone server into the street and pushed it.

Their altercation caught the attention of the service manager who walked over to intervene.

The lawsuit describes how the service manager told him that his persistent aggression had become a problem.

In response, Carroll tried to give him cash, which he refused.

According to the complaint, he then told him, “Never in my life will I bow to a street [n—–] do you like yourself.’

The Daily Beast reports that Carroll also admitted to beating his ex-wife in 2019 and also threatening to beat up a Colorado ski resort official.

He was also sued for defamation by his ex-wife’s defamation lawyer, who he said “messed with young children,” and also posted a video of his ex-wife having sex on Instagram.

A father of three, Carroll is the founder of Carroll Org., an American real estate investment company. He is also a co-owner of SPAL, an Italian football team that plays in Serie C, the third tier.
