An alleged car thief fell off the FDR Drive as he tried to escape as he landed on the ground in a collapsed heap – before three women did the most New York thing and simply walked away from the stunning scene.
This week, a new video was posted to social media showing the bizarre July 11 carjacking attack when the suspect, identified as Ismael English, 20, was seen fleeing the scene after allegedly stabbing Lyft driver Yadav Kumar Dhungel, 36, who was driving the Tesla in the unprovoked attack.
Surveillance footage showed Englishmen running across FDR Drive as they attempted to carjack two other vehicles and dove headfirst through a rear window into one of the vehicles.
Seconds later, the thug was seen sitting on the ledge of the concrete barrier near the Manhattan Bridge overpass. English dangled from the ledge holding on to the concrete barrier with only one hand, before falling 30 feet onto the concrete pavement, landing next to three unidentified women.
With English in pain, the ice-eating trio was unfazed by the drama. They paused, stared at the wounded man, then walked away and went about their day.
