Video of Millie Bobby Brown asking Noah Schnapp to be maid of honour goes viral after her engagement

Fans of Millie Bobby Brown have been begging her to make her Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp her bridesmaid after her boyfriend of two-and-a-half years, Jake Bongiovi, proposed.

The couple announced their engagement on Tuesday and fans have since snapped a clip of Millie, 19, saying she wants Noah, 18, as her bridesmaid to go viral.

The two best friends took part in an Instagram Live in August 2022 where they talked about their friendship.

Noah told Millie, “If you have a child, I want to be the godfather.”

Millie responded enthusiastically, “100 percent you are my children’s godfather.”

She added, “And the maid of honor at my wedding.”

Noah grinned and added, “Or…”

Millie laughed and said, referring to Jake, “He probably would pick you, he probably would. I’d really have to convince him you’d be such a great witness.”

Fans took to Twitter to share the clip and remind Millie of her promise to cast Noah in the special role.

One said, “I randomly thought of Millie’s wedding and Noah Schnapp as a bridesmaid.”

Another echoed, “If Noah Schnapp isn’t Millie’s maid of honor, I’ll be so sad.”

While a third added: “Okay, who’s looking forward to Noah Schnapp being Millie Bobby Brown’s maid of honor?” I know I am.’

A fourth agreed: “I wonder if Millie is still going to make Noah her honorary citizen at her wedding.”

And a fifth said, “Manifestation: Noah Schnapp is Millie’s maid of honor.”

Millie announced her engagement with a post showing off her shimmering rock in a monochromatic photo.

She wrote in the caption, “I’ve loved you for three summers now, baby, I want them all.”

While Jake also shared an announcement post on his own page, he simply wrote “forever” alongside two snaps of the couple.

To celebrate the joyous news, the lovelorn couple took part in a beach photo shoot – with Millie dressed in a crochet dress while Jake donned a cream colored polo shirt.

The announcement confirms some speculation that has been circulating on social media in recent weeks, after she glimpsed the ring in a recent post.

Millie posed behind the wheel of a convertible in a photo last month, looking away from the camera and raising her hand, revealing the prominent diamond ring on her finger.

While she also sparked rumors in August when she wore a gold diamond ring on her wedding finger during a PDA-packed outing.

Sharing that they had spent “three summers” together in the announcement post, it comes after the actress recently bragged the dirt about how she and Jake met.

Millie explained that they connected on Instagram and became friends through the platform, before the romance took off.

Answering the most common questions about her on the internet, she said, “We met on Instagram. And we were friends for a while, so what can I say?’

She introduced Jake to her 62.7 million followers in June 2021 with a cute photo of him on Instagram, but it wasn’t until she posted a picture of him planting a kiss on her cheek that they were “Instagram official.”

Millie called Jake her “partner for life,” in a gushing post in which she shared a series of photos of the couple in January 2023.

The English actress became an internationally recognized child star in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.

Jake joined the star on the New York red carpet during the star-studded premiere of Stranger Things season four in May.

Millie’s romance has taken off just as her career has blossomed. She currently stars in the fourth season of the hit Netflix show.

Set in the 1980s, the show follows a group of teenagers in a fictional Indiana town as they battle against supernatural forces unleashed by shadowy government organizations.
