Video of the incident that left Kevin Hart in a wheelchair has been released after the comedian decided to race against ex-NFL running back Stevan Ridley.
In the video, you can see Hart pull up early before the finish line and appear to be adjusting some sort of muscle.
In the aftermath of the incident, Hart revealed that he tore his abdominal and abductor muscles and was forced to use a wheelchair as a result.
“Those who know me know I’m pretty fast,” Hart said on social media. Stevan said, “Kevin, there’s no way you’re going to beat me.”
“I can’t walk…sit down. “I blew all my s***, ripped my gut, and ripped my captors. I don’t even know what that is, but I tore them.’

Ridley blamed watching Brady play until he was 45 because he thought Hart would make it
Ridley, who played alongside Brady for the Patriots, eventually saw Hart’s post and shared it on his own Instagram story with the caption, “I SAW @TOMBRADY DO IT AT YOUR AGE so I thought you had the juice too big, BRO!’
MY BAD @KEVINHARTFOREAL! HEAL AND KEEP US ALL LAUGHING!”
Those who even loosely follow the NFL are well aware that Brady played until he was 45 years old before finally retiring for the second and final time to end his 23-year career earlier this year.
Brady was never considered the fastest and most explosive athlete as he reached the final stages of his storied career, and at no stage for that matter.
Ridley, on the other hand, who is only 34 years old, used speed as one of the most important assets of his career, running his 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds during the 2011 NFL combine.
During a shooting career with the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers, he totaled 3,102 yards and 24 touchdowns in 73 career games.
If the 44-year-old Hart decides to race a former pro athlete again, he may want to at least think about choosing one closer to his age range.

In the clip, Hart reluctantly admitted that his age was catching up with him physically.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the age of 40 is real,” Hart said. ‘To all my men and women of forty years and older: it’s not a game, respect that age.
“Respect that age, or that age will make you respect him. I was just forced to respect him.’
He added: ‘What are we competing for at this age? What am I doing, why did I race at all? The dumbest s*** ever… must be the dumbest man in the world. It is what it is, man, this is life.’
