A chilling new video shows Louisiana State University student Madi Brooks slurring her words and apologizing to four men in a car after she was allegedly raped, and moments before she was run over and killed.
The 19-year-old Alpha Phi sorority girl died shortly after getting out of the car and was struck by a rideshare vehicle at 3 a.m. in East Baton Rouge last month.
Madi can be heard struggling to speak as 18-year-old Kaivon Washington films himself and the interior of the car after an argument allegedly broke out.
The 29-second clip shows Madi apparently telling 17-year-old teenager Desmond Carter to ‘get out’ of the car so she can ‘Uber on her own’.
It was recorded after Carter and Washington allegedly raped Madi in the back of the car after picking her up at Reggie’s bar in Tigerland, Louisiana on January 15.

He then says, “I’m sorry I offended you so much,” before allegedly insulting the driver of the car, 18-year-old Casen Carver.
It comes as a grand jury upgraded Carter’s charges to first-degree rape and he now faces life in prison for assault.
His police file has not been published.
Washington has also been accused of raping Madi and is currently facing a third-degree rape charge, but prosecutors say they hope to improve the charges.
Carver and Everett Lee, 28, have been charged with witnessing the two attacks on the drunken student.
Defense attorney Ron Haley claims the video shows that while Madi was drunk, she was able to consent. Prosecutors say it is a clear case of rape.
Madi was last seen drunk staggering out of Reggie’s bar, whose license has since been revoked, with the group.
Other images released by authorities show the student running after the group of men the night she died.
The Washington college football player is accused of raping another young woman who she claims attacked her in October last year after taking advantage of her at Reggie’s.
The victim in the October case says she was too drunk to go home, so she asked if she could stay at one of a friend’s apartments in Washington.

Other images released by the authorities show the student running after the group of men the night she died.
According to her arrest affidavit, they all returned to the house together, where she and the friend began having sex in front of Washington.
Supposedly, the friend became more “aggressive”, pinning her down and ignoring her as she begged him to “stop”.
Washington was watching, but then reached over and felt the victim’s breast and vagina, the affidavit states.
The alleged incident is the third rape allegation made against Washington.
In addition to Brooks, he is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl in 2020 after following her home from a pool party when he was 15.
The Walker High School varsity football player has been charged with first-degree rape in that case, and prosecutors have vowed to improve the charges in relation to Madi.
Washington lawyers previously submitted video footage to the court in an attempt to prove the drunken sorority girl was able to consent to the acts, but a judge found it showed “criminality.”
Casen Carver, 18, and Everett Lee, 28, were charged with participating in or witnessing the rape of 19-year-old Madi on January 15.
Stills show Washington partying with friends and posing for the camera, while another shows him topless and clutching an inflatable alien.
A legal expert told DailyMail.com that the judge’s ‘inappropriate’ comments could ‘contaminate public opinion’ of the defendants.
Washington can reportedly be heard in the footage laughing at Madi as she drawls after the alleged anal rape.
He remains in custody at the Livingston Parish jail, just one day after he was released on $150,000 bail in connection with Madi.
Louisiana’s first-degree rape statute carries a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole.
Madi died after being struck by a carpool at 3am on January 15, when the four men left her.
Two Good Samaritans reportedly stopped to perform CPR on the LSU sophomore after the collision.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office says they were led by first responders over the phone in the pouring rain after Madi was struck by the rideshare car.
They confirmed that Madi Brooks died of ‘multiple traumatic injuries’ when she was struck by a car after being allegedly raped.
No further information has been released at this time, and police have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle will not be charged as he was not incapacitated and contacted emergency services immediately.
A memorial for the ‘incredible young woman’ who had ‘unlimited potential’ has been created by her friends on the road where she died.
Desmond Carter, 17, is now facing life in prison for the attack on 19-year-old Madi Brooks in East Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
His Alpha Phi sorority confirmed that he donated his kidneys and heart.

The bar where Madi worked, according to various publications on social networks, has also been responsible for the questioned incident.
Surveillance footage surrounding Reggie’s bar, where the group met, shows Madi drunk and stumbling, according to police documents.
The Louisiana ATC has confirmed that it has suspended Reggie’s license following the “seriousness of the allegations and the potential threat to public safety.”
A lawyer for the bar association, Kris Perrett, confirmed in a statement that they are “fully cooperating with the authorities.”
Legal documents seen by DailyMail.com reveal that Madi had 0.319g per cent alcohol in her system, so high that toxicologists said she may have suffered from alcohol poisoning or blackout.

“And to the extent that those involved with the alleged rapist want to blame the victim and show up at press conferences and say things… we are defending Madi. That is not right.’
