A distraught mother has begged for information on the whereabouts of her son who has been missing for 12 days after meeting a mysterious man on gay dating app Grindr.
The search for Justin Males, last seen July 11 in Melton, Victoria, has found no trace of the man who also goes by the name Justin Bernard.
Police are not ruling out foul play and want to speak to the man they believe Mr Males met earlier that day.
“In my heart, in my gut, someone knows something,” his mother, Lisa Males, told 9News.
“He may be 34, but he’s still my baby. I want my son home.’

Mr Males was dropped off at home by his best friend, Amber Lindsay, on the day he was last seen, but it is believed he went for a walk rather than going inside.
CCTV showed him walking towards Toolern Creek from Barries Road in Melton at around 6:50 pm on Tuesday 11 July, but it is not known why he did so.
Despite an extensive search of the creek and surrounding areas such as Melton Botanic Garden and Darlingsford Lake, police found no sign of Mr. Males.
Ms Lindsay said Mr Males told her that the date with the man he met through Grindr had gone well.
The missing man is about 180 cm tall, has a normal build, short dark hair and has limited use of his right arm after a stroke.
