The father of four, who was elected to the Victorian Parliament in 2018, made headlines the following year when he smashed down a hotel door in a fit of rage.
Mr Fowles was escorted from the Abode hotel in Kingston by police after kicking in a door when he was told he could not access his luggage.
He had said to the hotel receptionist: ‘I am a Member of Parliament, I am a Member of Parliament’, according to reports at the time.
