Victoria Beckham wraps her arms around close friend Eva Longoria as they celebrate her birthday at star-studded party: ‘Love you VB’

Their friendship has stood the test of time since first meeting 16 years ago.

And Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria proved they are still the best of friends as they posed for photos at her 50th birthday party in London on Saturday.

The Spice Girl, who celebrated her milestone birthday this weekend, looked in good spirits as she beamed in photos with her best friend Eva, 49.

The former Desperate Housewives star and the fashion mogul were seen wrapping their arms around each other as they cozy up for glamorous photos.

Eva looked sensational in a tight black backless dress with a plunging neckline and let her sleek, dark locks flow loose.

While birthday girl Victoria made sure all eyes were on her in a blue semi-sheer dress as the pair posed in front of an array of flowers and candles.

Victoria wrote: ‘Don’t think I’ve ever felt as loved as I did last night. Thank you all for coming from near and far!! X’

Eva, who first met Victoria when the British icon moved to Los Angeles in 2007, reshared the post and wrote: ‘What an evening of love and friendship! I love you VB!’

The friends were also joined for a photo by Victoria’s daughter Harper, Eva’s goddaughter.

Eva and Victoria were later joined by their husbands José Bastón and David Beckham as they all celebrated the mother of four’s special day.

Eva previously opened up about her ‘inseparable’ bond with Victoria and admitted they even had sleepovers ‘all the time’.

Last year in an interview with The Times, she said: ‘I wish people knew how funny, charming and smart Victoria is. She is the funniest person. I think she’s an introvert, but with me she’s an extrovert. We are inseparable,” she added.

‘We have sleepovers all the time, usually at their farm or in London. We usually talk all night long,” she admitted.

The couple first grew up when Victoria and her husband David moved to the US when the footballer signed a contract with LA Galaxy, playing for the Los Angeles club from 2007 to 2013.

From chatting at fashion shows to attending David’s competitions together, a strong bond developed between the designer and the actress.

Victoria partied until the early hours as she was surrounded by her family and famous friends.

Posh Spice called it ‘the best night ever’ and had to be carried out of swanky Mayfair private members club Oswald’s by her husband David at 2.30am.

Her recent foot injury left the star relying on crutches for her glamorous entrance hours earlier, but she had her husband on hand for a piggyback ride as the evening drew to a close.

Giggling behind her heavily tinted sunglasses, Victoria was pressed against her family after being carried into the waiting car.

David, who will reach the same milestone next year, was without a coat as the family headed home.

The former Manchester United and England midfielder walked his wife across the busy sidewalk to the back of their taxi, where they were joined by all four of their children.

Chic Mayfair private members club Oswald’s was the venue for what turned out to be a decidedly elegant black tie affair tonight, with 100 guests enjoying dinner, sparkling water and cocktails – and dancing until the early hours.

Other guests seen leaving the chic venue included Victoria’s former Spice Girls bandmates Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown – who needed her own knight in shining armor for help as she walked out into the street.

Even Geri Horner left with a smile, having seemingly put the ‘sexting’ scandal surrounding her husband, Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner, behind her.

Close friends Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham later joined the exodus, followed by singer Marc Anthony and his model wife Nadia Ferreira.

Other departures included close family friends Gordon and Tana Ramsay, as well as Dave Gardner – David’s best friend and business partner.

Elsewhere, Hollywood legends Tom Cruise and Salma Hayek – who was joined by husband François-Henri Pinault – drew a crowd after calling it quits and taking to the streets.

The Spice Girls officially reunited on Saturday as they celebrated Victoria’s 50th birthday in London.

The British girl group – which was founded in 1994 – consists of Beckham, Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner.

The lavish celebrations saw all five Spice Girls come together to sing one of their hits, Stop, to the star-studded guests – all of which was caught on camera by husband David.
