Victoria Beckham has revealed how she imitated Linda Evangelista after becoming ‘completely obsessed’ with the supermodel.

The documentary, which offers a glimpse into the fashion industry during that decade, will be available on Disney+ from Friday.
During the interview with the former Spice Girl, Victoria explained that she became so taken with the ’90s icon that she went to the same salon as Linda and even imitated her hairstyle.
She said, “[Linda] was the reason I cut my hair, the reason I dyed my hair all kinds of colors. I was in New York and I went to Garren, who was Linda’s hairdresser.

The former pop star also shared in the documentary how fashion brought her and her husband, David Beckham, together.
She told the camera: ‘When I first met David in 1997, he had heard I was the Spice Girl who liked designer clothes.
‘So after I went to a few football games – I said I was following him, he would probably say I was stalking him – we agreed to go on a date together.
“He thought, ‘She’s the one who loves designer clothes,’ and so he actually went out and bought himself a full Prada look for our first date to impress me. And he did.”
In the revealing six-part series, Kate Moss openly discusses the abuse she suffered at the hands of concerned mothers.
The 50-year-old supermodel, who became the poster child for the trend in the 1990s, said people stopped her on the street and accused her of promoting eating disorders.
She said in the Disney+ documentary: “Parents came to me and said, ‘My daughter has anorexia.’ It was horrible.

The six-part series speaks to former Vogue editors-in-chief, including Edward Enninful, and celebrities such as supermodel Naomi Campbell
“I think it’s just because I was skinny, and people weren’t used to seeing skinny. But if I had been a little bit fuller, it wouldn’t have been such a big deal. It’s just that my body shape was different than the models before me.”
The documentary also features former Vogue editors-in-chief, including Edward Enninful, and celebrities including supermodel Naomi Campbell, actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker.
Designer Stella McCartney also shows how great her advantage is as the daughter of Beatles star Paul.
Stella described her graduation show from Central St Martin’s fashion school in London this way: ‘All the other students picked their models, and then they got their sizes. I had sizes, but my sizes were the supermodels.
“I thought, ‘Everyone’s going to hate me if I do that…’ but life is too short, and they were my friends. Those girls were the hottest girls on the planet. They did every show in every city, and they did a little fashion show at the university, for me. That was amazing.”
The Disney+ documentary In Vogue showcases rare, never-before-seen archives from key industry figures, revealing the untold story of the decade’s most celebrated pop culture moments and movements.
Other contributors include designers Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs and Jean Paul Gaultier, actress Claire Danes, models Amber Valetta and Tyson Beckford, director Baz Luhrmann and politician Hillary Clinton.
The new series was announced by The Walt Disney Company EMEA at last year’s Edinburgh TV Festival.
