Victoria Beckham reveals her fashion empire is FINALLY making a profit – 15 years after it launched – as she poses for a chic Vogue France cover shoot
Victoria Beckham does Vogue France‘s latest cover star and looked stunning in a series of chic images from the eye-catching shoot.
The fashion designer, 49, who told the interview how she has finally turned a profit from her fashion and beauty brand, which she founded in 2008, showed off her toned legs in a stunning image in which she wore knitwear and sheer tights.
The company, which has borrowed £30m from other parts of the Beckham empire over the years, is finally turning a profit.
Victoria said: ‘This is just the beginning. I have many ambitions and work hard to achieve my goals. I never wait for things to just fall into my lap.
‘It’s such an exciting time. This year we made a profit! This takes time, especially for an independent brand. My perfume is not licensed, I own it.

In an interview with industry bible Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) in March to celebrate the news, her brand’s investor David Belhassen shone a rare spotlight on the inner workings of Posh’s empire.
He said revenues rose by a whopping 42 per cent to £58m – and predicted that when the company’s filings discuss the 2022 financial year next December, the former Spice Girl will make her many critics eat their words.
Victoria certainly took the time to get here.
Victoria Beckham Holdings Ltd’s accounts show that the company made a loss of £5,887,036 in January 2021, compared to £8,581,944 in 2020.
This means that total losses for the company now amount to £66.3 million since it was founded in 2008 and directors of the company – including Victoria and her husband David – have not received any dividends.
The luxury fashion industry has expanded into Europe and the Middle East, with accounts showing the brand also expanding into new products, launching leather goods and the VB Body range.
Despite huge losses, Beckham’s global empire has reportedly doubled its profits.

Annual accounts filed at Companies House in London show that despite the pandemic, the couple earned £11.6 million in the year ending December 2020 – up from £4.5 million in 2019.
In accounts filed in 2021, accountants warned of ‘significant doubt’ over the ability of Victoria’s fashion business to continue operating, as it was reported the company had racked up debts of more than £46 million since launch.
Friends of the star said at the time that she is determined to continue with her business, even though her detractors have dismissed it as a vanity project.
One said: ‘This is what gives Victoria her identity, she loves it and despite the obvious obstacles she is a hustler and extremely passionate.’
In February 2021, it emerged that Ms Beckham’s beauty line which she set up in 2019 had made a loss of £4.7 million.
The fashion label, which has a flagship store in Mayfair, London and sells items such as jackets for up to £2,900 each, posted a loss of “12.2 million in 2018, £4.6 million in 2017 and a loss of £8.4 million in 2016.
For the photoshoot, Victoria completed her fall look with a beige overcoat as she braved a storm in a vintage car.
Another sultry shot saw her posing in a grassy field as she highlighted her pins in another leggy dress.
For other black and white photos, she posed in a simple white vest paired with tailored black pants.
Meanwhile, for the impeccable cover photo, she wore a brown blazer, a beige sweater and a leather skirt.

Victoria spoke to the glossy publication last month during Paris Fashion Week when she presented her latest collection.
The likes of Kim Kardashian sat in the front row, as did her supportive husband David, 48, and their children.
It comes after Victoria looked stunning earlier this week as she donned the famous satin dress she designed exclusively for Kim.
The beauty shared a sizzling snap on her Instagram page on Monday as she modeled the elegant number.
The former singer created the piece for Kim, 43, who proudly wore it to Victoria’s runaway show at Paris Fashion Week earlier in September.
Speaking to the camera as she recorded herself in the mirror, the English pop star captioned her video: ‘I made this dress exclusively for @kimkardashian to wear at my #VBSS24 show in Paris. I wanted it immediately!

The glamorous yet versatile piece features a round neckline and shows off Victoria’s slim figure.
The former Spice Girl also added a clip of her wearing the dress to her stories, as well as a photo of Kim looking stunning at her runway show in Paris with the caption, “kisses @kimkardashian xx.”
