Victoria Beckham pays tribute to her family and shares sweet childhood snaps with lookalike mum Jackie and dad Anthony for her 50th: ‘I wouldn’t be who I am today without them!’

Victoria Beckham paid tribute to her family on Wednesday as she celebrated her milestone 50th birthday.

The fashion designer shared a slew of sweet childhood photos via her Instagram, crediting her husband David, her four children and her parents for making her the woman she is today.

She posted a number of throwback photos of herself as a little girl, including one with her parents Jackie and Anthony Adams, prompting her fans to comment on how much she looked like her mother.

Victoria wrote: ‘Family is everything…I wouldn’t be who I am today without my beautiful husband, amazing children and parents!!

The mother-of-four was flooded with congratulations from her followers, while many were surprised at how much she looked like her mother.

They wrote: ‘Omg Victoria you are the image of your mother xx; Gosh, you look just like your beautiful mother; Wow, a doppelgänger of your mother

“Holy mole, a duplicate of your mother; You are your mother’s double; So just like your mother ; You look exactly like your mother!’

“Oh wow, you look so much like your mother; I never realized how much you look like your mother until now; that could be you in that photo!’

It was Victoria’s third celebratory post for her 50th, as she also shared an emotional message on the eve of her birthday.

Looking back on her life, the Spice Girl thanks her husband David, 48, and their “beautiful” children, Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12, for their “unconditional love and support.”

The beauty mogul stated, “As I get ready to step into my 50s (in heels, of course!), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone.”

She spoke enthusiastically about the highlights of her career, saying she was “blessed, but also accomplished and deeply satisfied.”

‘Not only where I stand as a woman, but also how far my fashion and beauty brands have come.’

‘My ambition has always been to empower women and give them the feeling of being the best version of themselves. For me, that meant trusting my instincts and never compromising on my creative vision.”

She added that she was proud of her career trajectory, from pop star to fashion designer, writing: “I believe you can be many things. A pop star, a mother, a wife, a designer…’

‘My passion has always been to dream big, and then dream even bigger! Believe in yourself first; all others will follow. And if you’re really lucky, you’ll find someone who believes in you even more than you do.”

The star thanked David and said she was “forever grateful for your unconditional love and support, and for our beautiful children.”

Victoria ended her post promising that she will continue to strive for more, stating, “So, this is to do more of what I love with the people I love. I am so grateful for my family, my friends and my amazing team!

Victoria also reposted David’s sweet tribute video dedicated to his ‘beautiful wife’ on Instagram, writing: ‘I love you so much!!!’

The compilation, based on the Bee Gees classic More Than A Woman, showed clips from Victoria’s life, starting with a children’s video in which her eldest children Brooklyn and Romeo wished her a happy birthday.

Between footage of Victoria during her Spice Girls career and her dancing with her family, David couldn’t resist criticizing Victoria’s now infamous Rolls Royce blunder.

David included a clip of the “be honest” voiceover from his 2023 documentary and shared a childhood photo of Victoria and her sister Louise posing with their father’s Rolls Royce.

David also referenced the moment in his sweet caption for the birthday video, writing: “50 and fit, I’m honest.”

Adding heartfelt words about his wife’s many achievements, he wrote: ‘Congratulations to my beautiful wife… As you face this anniversary, look back and be proud of what you have achieved, achieved and what you have built, fancy spices, a business woman and of course marrying an English captain.’

‘But your greatest success is your children, you guide them, love them and teach them… They love you more than words, we all love you so much x’

The video showed photos and video clips of Victoria, from childhood dance and theater performances, through her pop career to her time as a fashion designer.

David also shared throwback photos from the couple’s wedding day in 1999, including one of her posing for photos in her Vera Wang wedding dress.

Her children posted their own Instagram tribute on Wednesday as Romeo thanked his mother “for everything,” while eldest son Brooklyn shared a photo of himself as a baby on holiday with his mother.
