Victoria Beckham is told she’s ‘not going to age anymore’ with laser skin treatment

Victoria Beckham has been told she will ‘not age anymore’ after she ‘stopped the clock’ with skin laser treatment.

The fashion designer, 48, took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal she had recently undergone resurfacing at Ghavami Plastic Surgery in Los Angeles.

Laser resurfacing is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that aims to remove fine lines, wrinkles, tighten the skin and even out discolorations.

Victoria spoke about her non-surgical treatment with Dr. Ghavami in a video uploaded to social media, where he assured her that she “literally won’t age.”

Speaking of Victoria’s treatment, he said: “I mean, we’re not just looking at turning back the clock, we’re stopping it now. So you literally stop getting older, and you’re done.’

To which Victoria said, “I mean, how good does that sound?” Wow.’

Elsewhere in the video, Victoria shared that she had both 500nm and 2000nm wavelength laser on her skin to regenerate and tighten it.

Dr. Ghavami said he gave the Spice Girl a combination of semi-ablative treatment, which lightly damages the skin’s surface to regenerate it, and light therapy to target redness and pigmentation.

On how it works, he said, ‘Victoria is what we call a great canvas to start with, she has great bone structure, good skin. What the bone structure does is that first of all, the skin is draped and stretched over the bone structure.

“When you laser it or when you do a treatment that tightens that collagen, it’s really going to get a boost. It’s going to have a very powerful effect without much effort.’

Victoria shared that she was so impressed with her first laser treatment that she hopes to get more, along with radiofrequency treatment.

“The way my skin looked after that last treatment, it’s never looked better.” That’s why I said I want to do more now,” she said.

Before talking about the treatment, Victoria also shared how she takes care of her skin by eating right, exercising regularly and staying hydrated.

She said, “So I talk a lot about skin and what I do to really make my skin the best it can be.” I talk so much about how important it is to eat the right healthy fats, drink enough water, get as much sleep as possible.

“I talk a lot about skincare. But recently I was in LA and had a laser treatment with the wonderful doctor Ghavami and I noticed such a difference with my skin.

WHAT IS LASER RESURFACING?

Laser resurfacing is a facial rejuvenation procedure that uses a laser to improve the appearance of the skin or to treat minor flaws on the face. It can be done with ablative laser or non-ablative laser.

Both methods can be performed with a fractional laser, which leaves microscopic columns of untreated tissue in the treatment area.

It can reduce fine lines on the face. It can also treat the loss of skin tone and improve your complexion. Laser resurfacing cannot eliminate excessive or sagging skin.

“And now I want to know more, I want to educate myself further. I want to know more about lasers. What’s available, what I should be doing, as well as my skincare routine, which is so important.”

Alongside the video, Victoria added in an accompanying caption, “Our skin is our largest organ, so it’s important we take the best care of it!”

“Earlier this week I had an incredible laser treatment with @DrGhavami @GPSAesthetics, and I’m back with him today to learn more about keeping my skin healthy, nourished and radiant.

Victoria often shares skincare tutorials on her Instagram page and even has her own skincare line as part of Victoria Beckham Beauty.

She is also known for her “extreme” diet after her husband David admitted that she “only eats grilled fish and vegetables.”

Victoria recently explained that she also fills her diet with “healthy fat” and undergoes regular detoxes where she abstains from drinking alcohol.

‘I eat a lot of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, things like that. I do drink alcohol unless I have a reason not to,” she said.

Elsewhere, Victoria recently came under fire for sharing a controversial video on Instagram for an insight into her beauty routine.

The star showed off her own cosmetics line in the video as she explained to fans that she was “makeup free” to begin with.

But many of her 30.5 million followers took to the comments section to share their disagreement that she was au naturel, with one tag: “No makeup but 27 filters.”

Victoria filmed herself applying beauty products and said to the camera, “So I’m here in Paris and I just got out of the shower.”

“I don’t have any makeup on, just my power serum and my cell-rejuvenating moisturizer, so my skin is prepared.”

But many fans didn’t believe the former Spice Girl, as one wrote: “She’s my absolute hero and has been since SG’s.. but yeah no makeup just 27 filters.”

“I love you, but foundation, concealer and powder are makeup, my dear. Ding dong,” wrote another.
