Victoria Beckham gives fans a tour of her childhood bedroom in her parents’ home in Essex

Victoria Beckham gave her fans a little glimpse into her past on Instagram as she took a tour of her childhood bedroom.

The 48-year-old designer shared a glimpse of where she grew up before she became famous when she visited her parents’ home in Essex with her husband David and their children.

The Spice Girl was born in Harlow, before moving to Goffs Oak in Hertfordshire with her parents Jackie and Anthony Adams and later moving back to Essex.

Since then, her parents have redecorated their bedroom and turned it into a guest room, where Victoria was staying.

The bedroom had a large double bed covered in white sheets, with a large silver mirror mounted behind it, and a fluffy white rug.

Makeover: Her parents have since redecorated her bedroom and turned it into a guest room, where Victoria was staying.

There were wooden stairs in the corner and a large white wardrobe and a matching chest of drawers.

The room was full of old toys, with a stuffed animal in the drawers, a rocking horse against the wall, and a basket of dolls under the stairs.

Looking around the room Victoria said, “So today David and the kids and I came to visit my mom and dad and this is my old room, it brings back a lot of memories.”

“My mom has redecorated, this wasn’t my doll, but yeah, this is where I grew up.”

Filming the dolls, he added: ‘I remember these dolls! So this is Aunt Sally and this is Worzel Gummidge, and I remember my mom and dad gave this to me and my sister one Christmas when we were very young.

‘It brings back such good memories that it really does. It’s so nice to come back.

It comes after Victoria’s friends spoke out in defense of the star after Rio Ferdinand claimed he had never seen her eat.

Retired soccer player Rio, 44, opened up about his friendship with his husband’s fashion designer in a recent interview.

BT Sport pundit and Inter Miami president David represented England at the World Cup, and Rio would sometimes dine with the Beckhams during training.

And this week Rio said of Victoria: ‘I’ve never seen her eat anything. I don’t remember anything that sticks out of my memory, to be honest.

Friends of former Spice Girl Victoria have now spoken on her behalf, with one saying Sun: ‘Victoria has talked a lot about what she eats and saying that it’s not nonsense.

‘Why people are interested in what they eat is strange. Victoria has made no secret of the food she likes and she doesn’t care about it, so it’s baffling that people are commenting on it.
