Victoria Beckham ‘BROIDED Crew From Making Eye Contact During Top Of The Pops Performance’ – Leading An Iconic Scottish Band To Swear At Her!

Victoria Beckham didn’t want people to look her in the eye when she appeared on Top Of The Pops, claims former presenter Gail Porter.

During a performance with Dane Bowers, where they performed Out Of Your Mind during a live show, Posh reportedly had no contact with anyone on set.

Before arriving on set during the 2000 performance, members of the crew were reportedly warned by her team not to stare at the famous duo.

Gail: ‘Victoria and Dane’s folks had forbidden anyone from making eye contact with them while they were there, so it was super awkward.

And dear Travis (the band), I was watching them and they were making w***er signals (rude gestures).

“So anyway I get up and say ‘It’s Gail Porter, it’s still number one, it’s still Top Of The Pops’, and since the cameras can’t see them, welcome to the stage Victoria Beckham and Dane Bowers, Out Of Your Wit.”

After the performance, Victoria and Dane apparently froze on stage because they weren’t sure if the cameras were filming them.

Gail claims they stayed put until after she left the stage. MailOnline has reached out to representatives for comment.

Gail became a household name thanks to regular appearances on The Big Breakfast, The Movie Chart Show, VH1 and Iconic BBC music program Top Of The Pops.

In 1999, her popularity – boosted by modeling at cult magazines FHM and Loaded, among others – led to a nude photograph of Porter being projected onto the Houses of Parliament without her consent as part of a guerrilla marketing campaign.

But the former pin-up recently insisted she made little money during the early years of her mainstream career, citing the amount she received per episode of Top Of The Pops as one of her lowest earners.

She said The Telegraph: ‘I think £500, and then you have 20 per cent to your agent, then you have to pay your rent.

“All the front covers of magazines, I never got paid for them.”

When weighing up her biggest payday, Gail says a voiceover for a Sainsbury’s commercial brought in a modest income.

“It was a few hundred pounds a week, and you can’t complain about that,” she recalled. “But other than that I can’t remember any well-paid jobs.”

Gail previously admitted that she was not paid for her magazine work, at a time when boys were at their commercial peak.

She told Daily star: ‘I never got paid for what I did – I never got paid for FHM, GQ or many of the magazines I made.

“Some others may have been paid, but I never did and I was pretty vulnerable at the time.

“They said, ‘This is going to be great for your career, it’s going to be a lot of fun, and think about the pictures you can give your kids when you’re older.’
