Victoria Beckham celebrated her milestone 50th birthday on Wednesday, sharing an emotional Instagram post in which she reflected on her life and said she was “blessed, but also accomplished and deeply content.”
The fashion designer rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of The Spice Girls, when she was in her early twenties.
But 30 years later, Victoria has said she feels more comfortable in her own skin than ever and ‘wouldn’t want to be 25 anymore’.
Speaking last year ahead of the big 5-0, the singer said she is embracing growing older and “accepting what she looks like.”
She explained that in her youth she was “hard” on her appearance and focused on what she felt needed to be improved.

Now older and wiser, the mum-of-four insisted she has no ‘problems’ and just wants to look like her ‘best version’, rather than the way she did when she was younger.
Speak with The Sunday times a year ago Victoria said: ‘I’m comfortable with who I am, I accept what I look like, I make the best of what I have. I feel really successful, both professionally and personally, at the age of 49.’
She added, “I love how it feels to be a parent. I wouldn’t want to be 25 anymore. I was the kind of young woman who looked in the mirror and saw what needed improvement, as opposed to what actually looked good.
‘I have always been quite strict on myself, but I have also always strived to be the best version of myself. ‘
She also opened up about her approach to beauty, insisting she doesn’t have Botox, lip fillers or a nose job, while admitting she found all the cosmetic surgeries available to be “scary options.”
Victoria explained: ‘I’m not trying to turn back the clock. I’m 49 and it doesn’t bother me.’
Instead, she revealed that she is undergoing a number of laser and skin tightening treatments, stressing that “it’s the little things that matter.”
She added: ‘It’s not about changing anything, it’s about looking at the best version of yourself. I have more muscle tone at 49 than I did at 25.

‘I’m not obsessed with it, but I don’t think age should stop you from achieving personal goals. You can still look great. You know more about your body, you know what works.
‘I know what to do in the gym, I know what to eat, I know more about what works on my face. Knowledge is a wonderful thing.”
In 2019, Victoria reiterated that she was okay with getting older, saying she wants to “look good for her age” rather than younger.
Speaking on This Morning she said: ‘I’m fine with getting older. I’m not trying to look younger at all. I just want to look good for my age.
‘I want to look like the best version of myself. I want to take care of what I have. I don’t really want to change anything. And I’m okay with that. I love how growing older feels.
“I’m okay with how it looks because it is what it is. Everyone gets older. [But] I don’t like how things are going [getting older] sounds.’
On the eve of her 50th birthday, Victoria shared a lengthy message on her Instagram, thanking her husband David and their four “beautiful” children for their “unconditional love and support” as she marked the milestone.
The beauty mogul stated, “As I get ready to step into my 50s (in heels, of course!), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone.”

She spoke enthusiastically about the highlights of her career, saying she was “blessed, but also accomplished and deeply satisfied.”
‘Not only where I stand as a woman, but also how far my fashion and beauty brands have come.’
‘My ambition has always been to empower women and give them the feeling of being the best version of themselves. For me, that meant trusting my instincts and never compromising on my creative vision.”
She added that she was proud of her career trajectory, from pop star to fashion designer, writing: “I believe you can be many things. A pop star, a mother, a wife, a designer…’
‘My passion has always been to dream big, and then dream even bigger! Believe in yourself first; all others will follow. And if you’re really lucky, you’ll find someone who believes in you even more than you do.”
The star thanked David and said she was “forever grateful for your unconditional love and support, and for our beautiful children.”
“@BrooklynPeltzBeckham, @RomeoBeckham, @CruzBeckham, you complete me. I am so proud, so impressed with the kind, hardworking, talented individuals you are all becoming.”
Victoria ended her post promising that she will continue to strive for more, stating, “So, this is to do more of what I love with the people I love. I am so grateful for my family, my friends and my amazing team!
“This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and I’m just getting started. Mom and Dad, I love you. Kisses Victoria xx’.
