Manchester United and Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their hunt for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen after the player’s agent Roberto Calenda revealed the Napoli striker wants to stay with the Serie A club.

However, Calenda has insisted that his client always intended to stay in Naples and that he is not considering changing clubs at the moment.
Victor Osimhen wants to stay with Napoli, says player agent Roberto Calenda
“We don’t know now that Osimhen is the subject of so many teams, but things are done in three: who sells, who buys and the player,” he said. Radio Kiss Kiss.
“I was immediately clear this summer because I knew there would be a lot of news coming from people with perhaps different interests. But me, the boy and Napoli had very clear ideas.
‘Whoever spoke of a departure made a mistake. It was Victor’s will to stay at Napoli and play with his teammates in the Champions League he won last year.
“Victor wanted exactly that, to have a great year at Napoli, between the league and the Champions League. He has a long contract with the Azzurri. The market is dynamic, but our will is to continue at Napoli and do well.”
