A former girlfriend of rapist police officer David Carrick has recounted how he allegedly raped and strangled her before saying: ‘I can kill you without leaving any evidence.’
The 48-year-old armed officer admitted to committing 71 sexual assaults against 12 women, including 48 rapes.
Today, a woman who was interviewed by detectives investigating Carrick but chose not to file a formal complaint, recounted her own horrifying experience.
She said the PC used his status to threaten her, kept her in police handcuffs and boasted that he was a powerful man who protected high-ranking politicians.
David Carrick, 48, admitted to committing 71 sexual assaults against 12 women, including 48 rapes.
Today, a woman who was interviewed by detectives investigating Carrick but chose not to file a formal complaint, recounted her own horrifying experience.
the woman said the Guardian: ‘The sex became really violent. He wanted me to be just like a prostitute, but I didn’t want to do this kind of thing. It was something strange, crazy…’
The woman accused Carrick of raping her more than once, saying: “I would say no and then wake up with him on top of me.”
Detailing her controlling behavior, she said the porn-obsessed officer would track her down on Find My Friends and force her to drink his urine.
The monster also immobilized her using his police handcuffs, sometimes tying her wrist to her ankle and rendering her immobile.
He added that he was a sex addict and alcoholic who would start drinking at 7am after returning from work protecting senior MPs including Boris Johnson.
Carrick, nicknamed ‘Ba***ard Dave’ by his colleagues, today admitted to abusing and torturing 12 victims over nearly two decades.
Carrick appeared before Southwark Crown Court today charged with a series of sexual offences.
The women who testified before the police recalled how he told them: ‘I am a police officer, you can trust me’ and showed them his registration card.
He locked them in a small cupboard under the stairs of his home in Hertfordshire for 10 hours, controlled what they ate and separated them from their family.
Others described being dragged into the shower by their hair, whipped with belts and told ‘you are my slave, you are a whore’.
Carrick passed vetting procedures to join the Met in 2001 despite allegations of malicious communications and theft against a former partner the previous year.
He was accused of harassment and assault against a former partner while he was still on probation in 2002, but the matter was not referred to the Directorate of Professional Standards.
Carrick continued to serve while using his position of power as a police officer to violently abuse women until October 2021.
The 48-year-old found some of his victims on dating sites like Tinder and Badoo before meeting up in bars and using his status as a police officer to gain their trust.

Prosecutors said Carrick would appear “fun-loving, charming and charismatic” but was “very manipulative” and “very self-assured, almost to the point of being arrogant”.
He said, ‘not again’, when he was arrested at his home in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, in October 2021 after being accused of raping a woman he met on Tinder at a Premier Inn in St Albans.
When he arrived at a nearby pub on September 4, 2020, Carrick had ordered a bottle of wine and the woman said she felt “pressured” to drink because he had paid for it.
He told her he was a Metropolitan Police firearms officer nicknamed ‘Ba***ard Dave’, showed her his clearance card and bragged about meeting famous people, including Mr Johnson, in the course of his work.
She told police Carrick called her “disgusting” and referred to himself as a “dominant bastard” while raping her the next morning after she woke up naked in the bathroom with nausea in her hair.
During his first appearance at Westminster Magistrates Court on October 4, 2021, prosecutor Mark Fleckney said a scan of his electronic devices revealed searches for “raw” pornography.
Carrick faced no criminal penalties or misconduct findings for the incidents between 2000 and 2021, eight of which involved alleged female victims.
The monster was a Metropolitan Police firearms officer working on Parliamentary property.
Carrick was suspended from duty following his arrest and was taken into custody while the investigation “fired up” following publicity surrounding the case, according to police.
He denied raping the woman, and prosecutors said it was not in the public interest to proceed to trial on the charge, as he admitted to sexually assaulting a dozen other women who came forward after the first complaint.
Investigators said they discovered a pattern of behavior in which Carrick used his position as a police officer to gain the trust of his victims, who feared they would not be believed because of his position.
Carrick, who kept a pet snake, exercised control by paying for dinner and drinks, so that the women felt indebted to him before isolating them from their friends and family.
He told some of his victims that they were not allowed to eat, calling them ‘fat and lazy’, while others were ordered to stay in bed all day so they could have sex all night.
The women were locked in a cupboard under the stairs in Carrick’s home, which police said was smaller than a dog crate, for hours without food, or forced to clean the house naked.

Carrick was part of the Met’s Diplomatic and Parliamentary Protection Command
Carrick urinated on some of his victims and made disparaging comments towards the women, referring to them as his ‘slave’ or ‘whore’.
Chief Crown Prosecutor Shilpa Shah told a news conference: “Patterns of behavior that were similar would be things like making derogatory comments, calling them things like their slave and making rude comments all the time.”
“This was also in the phone evidence: I was texting them calling them horrible names, saying things like you are my slave, you are a slut. In actual offensive behavior there were striking similarities
‘For example, that he would urinate in their mouths. That’s something you wouldn’t make up. He would also force them to give him oral sex to the point that they would choke.
“For a couple of victims, I would say they weren’t allowed to eat today, saying they could eat this much apple today. I’d call them fat and lazy, and say that’s why you’re not allowed to eat.
Explaining how Carrick allegedly financially abused his victims, Ms Shah said she would make them feel indebted to him.
She said: ‘He would be the one to pay for them and not allow them to pay. It would be something like, you’re not using your own money, you’re using my money, so they would feel indebted to it.
