Vicky Pattison reveals she does not plan on having children or getting married

“It’s so expensive and there’s so much to do!” Vicky Pattison reveals she has no plans to have kids or get married anytime soon… despite fiancé Ercan Ramadan proposing last year!

Vicky Pattison has revealed that she has no plans to get married or have kids anytime soon.

The TV personality, 35, is engaged to Ercan Ramadan, a former TOWIE star, who proposed to her last year while they were on holiday in Dubai.

Vicky, who is on a fertility journey to freeze her eggs, admitted that she and her boyfriend have not yet made wedding plans and she is not ready to become a mother.

The star, who recently appeared in the BBC series Pilgrimage: The Road Through Portugal with a host of other stars, told the Sun: ‘I keep telling everyone that it will be the school holidays next year, because I have a lot of friends with children, but I’m not one step further.

“It’s so expensive and there’s so much to do that I’m not sure when we’ll get married.”

Vicky added, “To be honest, I don’t really have one [plans]. I really underestimated how much there was to do.

She also talked about ideas she has had for the decorations at her wedding.

Initially, she wanted a rustic theme in Italy, but after rethinking, she now wants modern decorations and candles.

Elsewhere, Vicky suffered a setback with her fertility journey in January and her eggs have yet to be frozen as she was busy with work.

The star has a cyst on her ovaries that needs to be removed before she can continue with treatment.

Vicky shared her experience with her fans and said the news made her understandably emotional.

She then wrote: “Unfortunately yesterday didn’t go as planned and I have another cyst on one of my ovaries.

“Since the injections I would have to administer as part of my fertility treatment are mainly estrogen – rather than stimulating the follicles in the ovaries, which is what we want – it would instead mainly feed the cyst and the treatment would be wasted.”

Emotional: Vicky Pattison, 35, revealed she was in tears in hospital after being forced to stop her fertility treatment for health reasons – she shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday

She added: “Obviously I’m a little disappointed and cried most of the day yesterday and just felt super exhausted – it was like someone let all the air out of a balloon.

“But I suppose that was just all the fear and nervous energy leaving my body and making me feel like a human raisin.”

She continued, “This is quite common and as I am starting to learn these journeys are not often linear and there can be many more ups and downs along the way.

So I have to brace myself for that and be thankful that I’m in a position to have options — which I really am.

“I want more women to know that it’s not easy for many of us. .. and you are not alone. Whatever it feels like.

“I’ve made my peace with it today – I’m going back to work, I’m going to focus on other things and I’ll try again next month.”

Loved up: Vicky and Ercan have been together since 2019 after being proposed by friends and the pair live together in Essex

FREEZING YOUR EGGS: THE FACTS

Freezing eggs means going through the IVF process, which typically takes two to three weeks.

This includes taking medications to stimulate egg production and also help the eggs mature.

Once the eggs are ready, women are placed under general anesthesia while they are collected – usually about 15 eggs, although this is not always possible for women with lower reserves.

A freezing solution is then added to the eggs to protect them, then they are frozen and stored in liquid nitrogen tanks.

When the woman is ready to use the eggs, they are thawed and those that remain intact are injected with sperm.
