The 39-year-old actress donned a bomb disposal outfit as she reprized her role as bomb disposal agent Lana Washington.
In photos from the shoot in east London, Vicky looked pensive as she walked around the set, also wearing a large backpack and a bomb vest.
Another image showed Vicky’s co-stars Mark Stanley, who plays DI Thom, and Natalie Simpson, who plays DS Helen Morgan, chatting with the crew.
Other snaps revealed cast members standing in bomb disposal gear and standing around a police car.

It comes after Vicky took to Instagram earlier this month to announce the return of the ITV series.

With a serious expression, Vicky wore an explosive vest over a dark gray jacket with a light gray Union Jack emblazoned on the sleeve.
The insignia was paired with a rugged black helmet with its protective mask lifted to reveal the star’s blue eyes.
He was paired with black leather fingerless safety gloves and was holding an electronic tablet.
Despite the intensity of the drama, the This Is England alum proved that it wasn’t all work and no play on set when she shared a selfie with show producer Jed Mercurio.

Vicky and the Line of Duty creator, 57, smiled for the photo, both showing off their pearly white teeth.
The actress removed her helmet for the photo, revealing her cropped, slicked-back brown hair.
Co-star Eric Shango, who plays Danny, can be seen in the background, cheekily photographing the couple with a peace sign.
Among the photos was an adorable shot of two Playmobile explosives experts perched on top of one of the show’s cameras.
He also teased fans by including a nodding dog toy snap that stole the attention and hearts of fans in season one.
She captioned the post: ‘Back with another bang… Trigger Point series two starters!’
He also quipped, “Swipe to see who’s back” with a dog emoji, referring to the fan-favorite car ornament.
Friends and fans of the Nottingham native were delighted by the announcement, with many commenting on their delight at the show’s return.

Almost 11 million viewers watched the first episode and the series averaged 9.24 million viewers for episodes 1-4 as audiences enjoyed the series on ITV, ITV Hub and BritBox.
