Vicky McClure was seen filming the new series of Trigger Point on Friday.

The 39-year-old actress donned a bomb disposal outfit as she reprized her role as bomb disposal agent Lana Washington.

In photos from the shoot in east London, Vicky looked pensive as she walked around the set, also wearing a large backpack and a bomb vest.

Another image showed Vicky’s co-stars Mark Stanley, who plays DI Thom, and Natalie Simpson, who plays DS Helen Morgan, chatting with the crew.

Vicky wrapped herself in a coat at one point while taking a break from filming, as a crew member held an umbrella for her.

It comes after Vicky took to Instagram earlier this month to announce the return of the ITV series.

The Line of Duty star shared images from the set of the London thriller with his 721,000 followers, sparking the launch of his second series.

The actress donned the full costume for the show’s series of snaps.

With a serious expression, Vicky wore an explosive vest over a dark gray jacket with a light gray Union Jack emblazoned on the sleeve.

The insignia was paired with a rugged black helmet with its protective mask lifted to reveal the star’s blue eyes.

He was paired with black leather fingerless safety gloves and was holding an electronic tablet.

Despite the intensity of the drama, the This Is England alum proved that it wasn’t all work and no play on set when she shared a selfie with show producer Jed Mercurio.

Trigger Point was written by screenwriting newcomer Daniel Brierley and produced by Jed’s HTM Television.

The crime drama centers on the officers of the Metropolitan Police Bomb Disposal Squad who risk their lives daily on “the long walk” into danger.

The first series focused on a terrorist campaign that threatened the capital over the summer with bomb disposal operations or ‘Expos’, leading urgent efforts to find out who is behind the attacks before deaths mount.

Almost 11 million viewers watched the first episode and the series averaged 9.24 million viewers for episodes 1-4 as audiences enjoyed the series on ITV, ITV Hub and BritBox.
