This is the moment a Norwegian minister thanked a cheering crowd at Oslo Pride last week after accepting an award… by flashing her breasts.

Lubna Jaffery, the Norwegian Minister of Culture and Gender Equality, received the ‘Gay Mom 2024’ award in the Norwegian capital.

The award is given to women who stand up for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community in the public sphere and who are considered idols by its members.

The 44-year-old politician proudly took the stage on June 25 at the Skeiv Preik (Queer Sermon) event, a popular part of the city’s Pride program.

“I am very grateful to have been appointed Gay Mom, the main patron of queers, at Oslo Pride this year. It is a great honor,” she told a cheering crowd.

“Lubna is a confident, free-spirited and wonderful person who enthusiastically follows cultural events across the country,” said Jonas Gar Stere, the leader of the Scandinavian country, after the stunt.

‘That was the case yesterday in Oslo as well and I think what he did is absolutely right!’

Joakim Aadland, the head of Pride, told the newspaper Dagbladet: ‘I think it’s great that we have a minister who is fully committed and not afraid to put himself in the spotlight a little bit.

“I’ve never seen so much applause as she did in the ten years we’ve had Pride. So it’s clear that the audience appreciated Lubna’s stunt.”
